For the love of your child
Using European Beech Wood from sustainable forests in Germany, where all items are manufactured, our baby products are free from volatile organic compounds and coated in water-based paints and varnishes to protect the developing immune and respiratory systems of infants. To prevent injury to curious little fingers, our drawers use a soft-close system.

European Beech Wood
With a typical life span of 150-200 years, a mature European Beech tree stands 160ft tall and 10ft wide. Regal, elegant and imposing, the European Beech is a popular ornamental tree in parks. Its strong manipulative wood is resistant to splitting and its fine and short grain makes it an easy wood to work with, easy to soak, dye, varnish and glue.
Safe paints and varnishes
Sometimes when you open a box of children's furniture, you will be hit with a strong chemical smell. Unfortunately, youngsters chew on furniture and food finds its way into their mouths directly from the table. Geuther uses certified bio-compatible water based contaminant-free paints and varnishes, which means if they are ingested, they will not cause harm.

Safety tops the list
At Geuther, safety is our first priority and begins during the product development phase which means that prior to going into serial production, all Geuther products undergo several test phases. To protect curious little fingers from injury, our nursery bedroom sets use soft close mechanics, while our drawers and presses open using the tip-on system.

Safety certified
Our wood suppliers are FSC® certified and all our furniture surfaces comply with DIN standard 63160 (saliva and perspiration resistance), and European standard EN 71 (toy safety). Geuther is certified under the lowest emission class E1 for formaldehyde emissions. Our cardboard packaging materials bear the RESY recycling symbol, meaning that they are 100% recyclable.

Lotta Changing Table
Thumbs up for the Geuther Lotta Changing Table. Sturdy, convenient, handy it also has a pull out drawer with no hassles. It is the perfect height for changing a baby, so easy to wheel around, and unobtrusive. For me it ticks all the right boxes. The price was good and all I can add is that I respect the Geuther brand so much that it was an easy purchase for me.
I also got their playpen..... brilliant! The retailer gave us excellent advice without putting us under any pressure.
Lucy Playpen
One of our top baby buys. We bought the Lucy Playpen so we could keep an eye on Ciara and her on us while in the sitting room-come kitchen. We can wheel it into any position in the room, which is mostly in front of Dora the explorer on the telly. She plays in it and sleeps in it after tiring herself out with her too many toys from all her adoring relatives or watching Man City on the TV...her Dad's favourite team. What really tops this great playpen is that it folds up easy to bring to the grandparents. It takes a battering that's for sure!
Swing Highchair
While Trip Trap had the strong reputation it also had the price tag to go with it given that many of the parts you would need are regarded as extras...Phew!!!
Finally after thorough research, I went for the Swing Highchair and I am glad I did. Solid and stylish, no extra costs besides the seat reducer - table and harness were included. I have since discovered it has one of the the best reputations in Europe. I know there is a long life ahead of it as it can be adjusted for use as a normal casual chair for adults and for my child as he grows.
Playpens
Geuther playpens are quick to open and close, making them easy to store or transport. On lockable coasters, they can be a presence in any room in your home. As your child grows, the cushioned play level can be lowered, until it rests just above the floor, while three removable bars allow your child increased freedom of movement.
Co-sleepers
Geuther has designed the perfect co-sleeping solution that allows you and your infant to safely sleep in close proximity. The co-sleeper fits snugly against the frame of an adult bed so that parents can nurse and comfort safely. When baby is ready to sleep alone, the cot is easily relocated to the nursery.

Cots and Cradles
Geuther infant beds are designed to restrict the baby to the bed: the sides are too high to climb and provide no footholds. Design standards include considerations such as the materials used and preventing hand and head entrapment. At around two or three years of age children are moved to a toddler bed to prevent an injurious fall while escaping the bed.
High Chairs
Big ideas for little people, Geuther high chairs are part of the family, giving infants, toddlers and young children the boost they need they partake in family mealtimes and creative playtime. Changing Tables
The nappy changer trolley should be large enough that it provides sufficient storage space for baby's cleanser, shampoo, nappy, towels and change of clothes. With Geuther you can choose from a mobile bath and changing unit made from Beech Wood or a simple changing unit that can be rolled out and made disappear just as quickly.

Baby Bath Tub
A baby bathtub is used for bathing infants, especially those not yet old enough to sit up on their own. With Geuther, you can choose from a stand-alone bath, device that is placed in a standard bathtub or a bath tub that is built into the changing unit. Each unit is designed to allow your baby to recline while keeping its head out of the water.

5 year guarantee
All Geuther nursery furniture comes with a three year guarantee as required by law. Geuther places an additional two year warranty on selected products. Look out for the symbol as you browse our catalogue. The Geuther warranty does not cover wear and tear due to daily use but is there in the event a flaw exists with the product. In the event of a problem, please return your Geuther product to the retailer who sold it to you.
Soft-Close System
To protect curious little fingers, Geuther drawers and doors are fitted with a soft-close system.
When you push a drawer or door closed, it will stop for a minute before gently and slowly shutting without your assistance.
Tip-On System
The tip-on system has been applied to the new collection of nursery furniture.
There is no longer any need for handles on drawers and doors as our bedroom pieces take on a modern, sleek dimension. All that is required by you is to press on the drawer or door you wish to open.
Made in Germany
Geuther is a medium-sized family businesses still permitted to fly the "Made in Germany" flag. Products are designed, materials sourced, and production completed close to our headquarters, remaining under our direct control.
